Dr NasratDr Qudratullah Nasrat (CEO) is an Afghan Medical Doctor having master’s (MPH) in international public health from the University of Liverpool. He has around 16 years of experience in different disciplines within health system by working with various national and international organization in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Presently, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Organization for Research and Community Development (ORCD) which he founded in 2011. ORCD being the only Afghan NGO having Special Consultative Status with ECOSOC/United Nations since 2015, has implemented more than 31 medium to large scale projects in partnership with the Government of Afghanistan as well as various UN agencies in the field of health, nutrition, rural development, protection, women empowerment, and refugees. Representing ORCD, Dr Nasrat has remained elected member of various national level forums including the Country Coordination Mechanism (CCM), Humanitarian Country Team (HCT), Co-Chair and member of the Strategic Advisory Group of Health Cluster, White Ribbon Alliance (WRA), Steering Committee of Alliance of Health Organizations (AHO).

 

Dr Juma KhanDr. Juma Khan Naser Khairzada (Country Director-Programs) is a Medical Doctor (MD) and is bearing the Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) with more than 20 years of working experience in health sector with, MoPH, UN agencies, INGOs, ARCS, IFRC, private sector and National NGOs (SAF, BDN, CAF and ORCD). He has wonderful experience in effective design of the health projects, proper planning, developing the policies and guidelines and regular and in time monitoring of the BPHS and EPHS projects. He has been dominant in establishment of community health networks through which BDN, SAF has indirectly supervised and monitored CHW activities, and strengthened community based health care interventions largely. He has gained outstanding experience in project management i.e. planning, definition of objectives and indicators, budgeting and financial reporting as well as relations with donors “USAID, EC, World Bank, IFRC, ON, WFP, UNICEF, WHO, SCI, UNDP, GF and UNFPA

ORCD being the only Afghan NGO having Special Consultative Status with ECOSOC/United Nations since 2015, has implemented more than 31 medium to large scale projects in partnership with the Government of Afghanistan as well as various UN agencies in the field of health, nutrition, rural development, protection, women empowerment, and refugees.
He also has been chaired the Coordinated Procurment and Distribution of Pharmaceuticals task force (CPDS) in Afghanistan.

Representing ORCD, Dr Khairzada has remained elected member of various national level forums including the Humanitarian Country Team, (HCT) Alliance of Heath Organizations (AHO) AND ACBAR.
In global level, Dr. Khairzada has the honor of the membership in steering committee of Civil Society Coordination group (CSCG) for GFF and is the elected focal point of Afghanistan civil society in GFF.
